No one who saw December’s TV special, ‘A Night With Beyoncé’, will forget her knockout performance in a hurry. She prowled the stage, pulling off her trademark serpentine shimmies and angular poses with a raunchy energy, queen of all she surveyed. But it was the sheer drop-dead glamour that lingers.
I honestly, from the bottom of my heart, give everything that I can give.
Her staggering wardrobe included two eye-popping costumes designed by luxury couture house Ralph & Russo: a daring nude-colored mesh bodysuit decorated with lashings of smoke blue crystals; and a red leather flared skirt with a bronze Amazon corset encrusted with more glittering crystals. Tamara Ralph and Michael Russo lavished 50,000 SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS on these special creations so that they would attract the light and refract an edgy luminosity. Arguably the rock goddess of our time, Beyoncé seemed to shimmer in stardust, literally lighting up the stage in an explosion of crystal.
