There was only one brand of heels heard click-clicking on the streets of the world’s Spring/Summer 2017 Fashion Weeks: Jimmy Choo. No matter whether Melanie Galea (thestreetmuse.it) was taking photos in New York, Paris or Milan, all the big fashion influencers were spotted stepping up the style in pieces from Creative Director Sandra Choi’s latest collections.
In Milan, one of Germany’s most successful fashion bloggers, Nina Suess, teamed her opulent textiles with some lavishly laced, heeled sandals. Sofie Valkiers of Fashionata was perfectly poised in towering black pumps featuring crystal embellishments. Choosing to match her suede boots with its fellow bag, Stylized Studio’s Liz Uy opted for maximum Choo impact. The ex-model known for her Viky & the Kid lifestyle blog, Viktoria Rader, did likewise—she popped with an out-there orange faux fur design.
Paris, meanwhile, saw the color turned way down and the contrast ramped up as Evangelie Smyrniotaki, founder of styleheroine.com and one of the faces of Jimmy Choo’s latest digital campaign, took monochrome for a slinky walk in shiny black pants and brilliant white stilettos.
Hotfooting it over the Atlantic to New York City, fashion director of Instyle Germany Jan Quammie owned the sidewalk in a dazzling pair of silver Chelsea boots. Digital nomad and lifestyle influencer Rebecca Laurey went camo, blending her khaki pants with a matching Choo cross-body bag.
