We’re all about design competitions at the moment, having just seen the brightest young talents compete in the world’s most respected design contest: International Talent Support. The chance to be declared the industry’s greatest emerging talent is pretty special, so we were fascinated by the insights shared by this year’s winners, Ukrainian Tatiana Lobanova and German Sari Räthel. They were chosen by a panel of starry jurors: three of them—Dutch designer Iris van Herpen, British jewelry historian Vivenne Becker, and Swarovski’s design guru Ute Schumacher—revealed the hazards, challenges and joys of judging ITS.
We also dropped in on Paris Haute Couture and Italy’s AltaRomaAltaModa, and we swooned over Jimmy Choo’s new shoes, while the sensational style displayed by top bloggers Laura Comolli (Italy) and Kate Butko (Russia) has left us reviewing our wardrobes… Enjoy!
