As the fashion caravan moves on to Paris and Milan, we bring you the highlights from the New York and London Fashion Weeks. The Big Apple had another surprise: the hip backstage Galaxy Lounge, where the fash-pack played on Samsung’s new crystallized Galaxy Note 3, created lookbooks with a clever app, and watched the shows live-streamed from the runway.
We also talk to Brazil’s hottest young designer, Pedro Lourenço, as well as the king of eye-popping stagewear and high-tech couture, Michael Schmidt; and we marvel at the creativity of Thai-born fashion student Mook Attakanwong.
Glittering events include that see-and-be-seen extravaganza, the Vienna Opera Ball, and the astonishing Belle Époque-themed windows at Swarovski’s Vienna store. So much glamour, so little time!
