MENSWEAR DÉBUT

SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS was exploring new creative frontiers with its first-ever venture into contemporary men's fashion. The scintillating exhibition, dubbed Men Wear SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS, premièred this November 2009 in Tokyo - with Japan's forward-looking, fashion-savvy capital providing an ideal backdrop for the avant-garde initiative.

Both established and upcoming designers and fashion labels, including Phillip Lim, Lanvin, Kitsume, Visvim and Casely Hayford, partnered with SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS to produce a bold array of subtly embellished menswear drawn from their spring/summer 2010 collections. Choreographed and styled by influential Japanese fashion editor Tomoki Sukezane, the exhibits were unveiled at a gala event in the fashion and luxury district of Aoyama. The cutting-edge show pieces will also appeared in a special insert in the February 2010 issue of Popeye magazine, alongside interviews with participating designers.
