Since 1895, Swarovski has enjoyed rewarding partnerships with design luminaries from a variety of industries: jewelry; fashion accessories and textiles; architecture and interiors; consumer electronics and packaging.
Founded by Jean Christophe Bernard and Isabelle Bernard, it is renowned for its innovative and edgy acrylic designs. Stylish, fun and functional, Acrila offers sixteen timeless collections of furniture, lighting and accessories, and eight fashion/design collaborations developed by top-class creative talents such as Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, Alnoor and Carlo Rampazzi. In December 2011, the duo launched a new sector for Acrila: transparent jewelry in acrylic glass. Oversized and light, fun and fashionable, their Spring/Summer 2012 collection of black acrylic glass necklaces adorned with crystals is testament to an extraordinarily creative collaboration with Swarovski.
